These terms govern your use of bookkyn.com (the "site"). The site is operated by ELI CANADA LLC, doing business as Bookkyn ("Bookkyn", "we", "us"). By using the site you agree to these terms.
Information only, not professional advice
Content on the site is general information about our services. It is not accounting, tax, legal or financial advice for your situation. Bookkyn provides bookkeeping services; we do not provide tax preparation, audit or attest services through this site.
No client relationship until you sign
Visiting the site, emailing us or booking a call does not create a client relationship. A client relationship starts only when you accept a written quotation and engagement letter from Bookkyn. That engagement letter, not these terms, governs the services we provide to you.
Pricing and offers
- Prices on the site are guidelines. Your fee is set in your written quotation after we review your books, and may fall outside the ranges shown.
- The launch offer (cleanup of up to one year, migration to Odoo and one month of bookkeeping at no charge) is limited to our first 20 clients who sign an engagement. Bookkyn decides eligibility and may end the offer at any time before you sign. Its exact terms are stated in your quotation.
- We may change our services and prices at any time. Changes do not affect a signed engagement except as that engagement allows.
Acceptable use
Do not misuse the site: for example, by attempting to disrupt or gain unauthorized access to it, scraping it at scale, or using it for unlawful purposes.
Intellectual property
The site's content, design, name and logo belong to Bookkyn or its licensors. You may view and share pages for personal or internal business use, but may not copy or reuse them commercially without our permission.
Third-party services
The site links to third-party services we do not control, such as video conferencing. Their own terms and privacy policies apply, and we are not responsible for them.
Disclaimers
The site is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the site will be uninterrupted or error-free.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Bookkyn will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits or data, arising from your use of the site. Our total liability for any claim arising from the site is limited to one hundred US dollars (US$100).
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, without regard to its conflict of law rules. Any dispute about the site will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Wyoming.
Changes
We may update these terms. The effective date at the top shows when they last changed, and continued use of the site means you accept the updated terms.
